this blog is a chronicle of my journey through im260 & im291 as i learn professional practice for integrated media and attempt to apply these skills in real-world scenarios.
my beautiful wife emily and i moved to the portland area just over a year ago so i could enter the integrated media department at mt. hood community college. she works as a reading teacher for david douglas school district and i, hmmm…i’m not sure what it is i do. just trying to make sense of all this design business and get up to speed as quickly as possible. we’ve got a golden retriever named buddy (creative, i know) who currently resides at my parents big property since we went from living on an acre to a 670sf apartment in the middle of the city. that would not have worked for long.
